Asian Pop-Up Cinema is a one-year old film festival dedicated to create interest and awareness of Asian cultures via films. Twice a year, critically acclaimed films made by filmmakers in Asia will be showcased via Asian Pop-Up Cinema during the Spring and Fall seasons. Since its inaugural season in the fall of 2015, we have exhibited 24 screenings and premiered 18 films for Chicago. We have also hosted 5 Directors and Asian film industry professionals to Chicago, with many of them being first time visitors at our beautiful city. The festival cannot sustain itself solely from tickets revenues. We hope that you are excited to partner with us building brand recognition through this unique platform, and at the same time supporting the art and stories crafted by the filmmakers from Asia.
