Director’s Statement: The moment I learned that “ The Uniform” had won the Audience Choice Award at the Chicago Asian Pop-Up Cinema Festival, I was truly both surprised and overjoyed! “The Uniform” is a youth coming of age story deeply rooted in Taiwan's local culture. Thank you to the Chicago audience for your support—your love is my greatest motivation to keep moving forward, filling me with warmth during this season of lingering chill. I really love Chicago and hope the festival continues to thrive. More than anything, I hope audiences keep going to the theaters to experience the unique charm of cinema! Thank you!

We also held special community screenings at Alliance Française de Chicago, Chinese American Museum of Chicago, Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology’s Michael Paul Galvin Tower.
