SYNOPSIS

The woman outside the box watched the woman inside, and then she sealed the box. After this, they have embarked on different journeys.

The concept of Shero in the Box begins by deconstructing the discourse of patriarchy, imagining a new perspective on women's history in the ever-changing animation, darkness and woods.

Ted Zheng Wang

Born in 1999, and raised in WenZhou, China, Ted’s practice shifts between animation, filmmaking and computer art. His work often takes a structural, cryptic perspective on intimacy, identity, and their changing forms in heterogeneous space.

His works have been shortlisted for FUSE film under severe experiment festival, Les Mains Gauches Queer Feminist Short Movies, Dong Bu Zhou International Animation Film Festival, Fenaki Animation Week, Hang Zhou Youth Film Project Golden Lotus Award Short Films, and the 20th Animation Academy Award of Beijing Film Academy, etc.
