SYNOPSIS:
Louis Koo (TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN, ELECTION) plays a jaded detective tasked to investigate a client's girlfriend, who also happens to be his wife! To add an extra level of intrigue, he gets caught in the crossfire of another case involving adultery and murder. Directed by Jonathan Li, the award-nominated director of actioner THE BRINK (Fantasia 2017), and Chou Man Yu.
Louis Koo (TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN, ELECTION) incarne un détective blasé chargé d'enquêter sur la petite amie d'un client, qui s’avère être sa propre femme! Pour ajouter une touche d'intrigue, il se retrouve pris entre deux feux dans une autre affaire impliquant meurtre et adultère. Réalisé par Jonathan Li, du film d'action primé THE BRINK (Fantasia 2017), et Chou Man Yu.
Jonathan Li, Director
Director Li has been involved in more than 30 films, including many classics such as INTERNAL AFFAIRS III, THE LOST BLADESMAN and THE SILENT WAR. He participated in the Hong Kong Film Assistant Directors’ Association and was elected as the first president. In 2017, he made his directorial debut with THE BRINK, which participated in several international film festivals, and was selected as an exhibiting film at the “Busan International Film Festival” and held its world premiere. THE BRINK was also nominated for the "Best New Director" and the “Best Action Choreography” at the “37th Hong Kong Film Awards”.
Chou Man Yu, Director
Graduating from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature, Chow is the scriptwriter for NAKED AMBITION 2 (2014), DUST TO DUST (2023), and SONS OF THE NEON NIGHT (2025). In 2025, he made his directorial debut with BEHIND THE SHADOWS.
