Renowned novelist Yul-hee moves into a countryside house with her daughter. But their serene life takes a turn when an attractive stranger who claims to be Yul-hee’s fan appears and gradually grows a little too close to the family.
Director Yoon Eun-kyoung takes the creepy houseguest genre trope into uncanny and unfamiliar territory with this unsettling thriller. Featuring brilliant performances by all three of its female leads, Yoon’s cautionary tale explores how human vulnerability can become manipulated and exploited all too easily.
