Hana has a screenplay that she admits is full of hatred towards men. Meanwhile, her classmate Cheol-man believes that he isn’t getting film grants because his films don’t have enough feminine elements. They decide to enter an unlikely partnership to help each other’s films get made.
Made with a scrappy b-movie energy, Yeum Moon-kyoung and Lee Jong-min’s indie comedy is a clever satire of gender politics in the modern film industry. Throwing in a wild array of cinematic styles, from sci-fi to musicals, the co-directors/co-stars create a love letter to cinema that only a couple of cinephiles can dream up.
